A growing operation in the poultry/food production sector is seeking an Assistant Engineer / Production Supervisor. This dual-role position supports both technical and supervisory functions on the production floor. We are looking for someone with industry experience who can assist in troubleshooting, improving production processes, and leading teams to success.

Responsibilities:

• Assist engineering and maintenance staff with production line issues
• Supervise production staff and help ensure shift goals are met
• Monitor equipment performance and escalate maintenance needs
• Help develop process improvements to increase output and reduce downtime
• Ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards
• Support training of new hires and line workers
• Collaborate with other departments to keep operations running smoothly

Qualifications:

• Experience in poultry or food manufacturing required
• Strong mechanical aptitude or technical background
• Supervisory or team lead experience highly desirable
• Bilingual in English/Spanish required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Comfortable balancing hands-on work with team oversight
