Position: Production Scheduler Duration: 6 month contract to hire Exact Location: Riceboro, GA Desired Qualifications: High School Diploma Experience in scheduling - preferably scheduling product/production 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Experience working with salespeople and customer service representatives Day–to–Day: A large chemical manufacturing client of Insight Global is seeking a Production Scheduler to join their Scheduling department in Riceboro, GA. This person will be responsible for developing the master plan to establish sequence and lead time of operations, from procurement of raw materials through receipt of finished goods. You will alter schedules to meet unexpected conditions, collect and analyze data related to on-time performance and turn-around time, and oversee production and scheduling workflow across multiple departments.
