2. JOB PURPOSE

Collaborate with product design from feasibility through design phase to achieve a product
that can be manufactured with-in the factory’s capabilities while working with MMC’s to
prepare and execute the trial phase of the new model development
3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
List the key accountabilities that must be carried out to fulfil the job purpose. % of time
· Conduct feasibilities studies on new technologies, design concepts and
equipment 10
· Review drawings with internal team and customers to verify the design 10
· Identify past model problem history, opportunities for cost savings and
safety concerns 10
· Communicate change points to other departments 10
· Issue countermeasure request forms to R&D Department for
improvements in quality, cost, delivery, safety and assembly 10
· Develop and present project status updates, change points,
recommendations, etc. 10
· Identify and document trial problems and discuss countermeasures 10
· Support quality problems and recommend countermeasures 10
· Support equipment installs and robot programming 10
· Support build event preparation and execution 10

Educational
Qualifications § Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience

Experience § 0-2 years’ relevant experience based on education – 6 years required without relevant degree

§ Generally first shift production hours, occasional split/second shift support required. 0-5
hours OT weekly.
