Job Summary
*We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Personal Injury Trial Attorney to join our litigation team. This individual will be responsible for managing a full caseload of personal injury matters from inception through trial. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in litigation, excellent courtroom skills, and a passion for advocating on behalf of injured clients. This role is best suited for a confident, strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and can work both independently and collaboratively with a legal team.*
Core Responsibilities
* Manage a full caseload of personal injury matters, specifically motor vehicle accidents and products liability cases. * Develop case strategy and find plausible solutions to legal matters. * Attend hearings, depositions, and other court appearances. * Stay informed about any current legislation. * Building trustworthy relationships with clients and experts. * Handle all phases of litigation, from case evaluation and pre-suit strategy to discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial. * Prepare and argue motions, attend court hearings, and advocate in mediation or arbitration. * Lead trial preparation and serve as first or second chair at trial. * Collaborate with paralegals, investigators, and support staff to ensure efficient case handling.
Minimum Requirements
*Education/Certifications *
* Bachelors degree in law-related field required. * Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. * Active bar license to practice law in California.
*Experience*
* 10 years of litigation experience with an emphasis on personal injury cases. * Experience with high volume mediations and settlements. * Trial experience (first or second chair) strongly preferred. * Exceptional oral advocacy, negotiation, and writing skills. * Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures. * Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently and effectively. * Client-focused approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Experience conducting mediations, arbitrations, or settlement conferences. * Plaintiff-side trial experience is a plus.
