American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with Level 1 Trauma and Siemens experience for a 13-week contract performing 100% CT procedures. Responsibilities
Work in a teaching hospital with Level 1 Trauma and Magnet designation CT department handling 100% procedures, caseload varies by shift and location Schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM Includes holiday rotation and on-call responsibilities Floating to other sister facilities within scope as needed Uses Epic for charting Requires wearing teal top and black bottom scrubs Responsible for performing CT procedures in a high-acuity environment May be asked to support during hurricane season emergency response Training modules must be completed prior to start Holiday shifts may be required as part of rotation Parking pass required for nights and weekends with a one-time fee All RTO requests must be submitted up front and are subject to approval based on unit needs Requirements
Minimum 6 months Level 1 Trauma CT experience required At least 1 year of CT experience preferred Current BLS and ARRT RT(R)(CT) and SCRQSA (R)(CT) certifications required Siemens CT scanner experience required Radiation badge must be provided by the agency License required if applicable, and must be active at time of start Valid Driver’s License and Social Security Number required for consideration Epic EMR experience preferred First-time travelers considered if they meet experience requirements Must live at least 60 miles from facility for travel status; locals considered case-by-case Previous perm or PRN staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler Benefits
