Job Title: QO Lab AnalystJob Description
The QO Lab Analyst position operates in a fast-paced, customer-oriented team laboratory environment, analyzing raw materials, packaging materials, in-process materials, APIs, utilities, and/or finished product samples to support the company's quality program.
Responsibilities
Perform, document, record checks, and troubleshoot qualitative or quantitative assays on samples using both standard laboratory equipment and modern automated instrumentation.
Participate in manufacturing quality control support, such as cleaning verification.
Interpret and evaluate data for accuracy, precision, trends, and potential GMP impact, recommending corrective actions where necessary.
Maintain high productivity and multi-task with a low error rate and attention to detail.
Demonstrate flexibility and engagement in a changing environment, ensuring good laboratory technique to prevent cross-contamination or misidentification of samples.
Comprehend and perform routine and non-routine analyses from compendial and internal sources.
Train others as skills and knowledge allow.
Participate in laboratory investigations as required.
Write routine assay protocols or conduct assay, process, or instrument qualifications.
Exhibit the ability to quickly learn new skills and techniques.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in at least one high complexity technology (e.g., HPLC, uHPLC, GC, advanced spectroscopy) or two or more low to medium complexity technologies (e.g., TLC, titrations, wet chemistry/physical testing, water testing).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Good laboratory technique to avoid cross-contamination or misidentification of samples.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
AAS, BA/BS, or MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years related experience in Quality Operations preferred.
Experience with HPLC is advantageous.
Ability to lift occasionally (less than 35 lbs), reach, and sit while working at a computer terminal.
Candidate must not be sensitive to Cephalosporin/Penicillin.
Work Environment
This is a lab-based role in a dynamic and evolving environment. The position requires working with various technologies and equipment, ensuring that tasks are completed with precision and accuracy. The work may involve sitting at a computer terminal and occasional lifting.

This is a Contract position based out of Kalamazoo, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
