Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals for the role of 2nd Shift Assembler. This is a contract-to-hire position with the potential for permanent employment beyond the initial 12 to 18 months. Candidates must be flexible with shift timings and available to work Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

Understand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.

Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.

Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Project Engineer/Supervisor.

Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency with measuring tools, hand tools, calipers, and micrometers.

Experience in medical device assembly and cleanroom environments.

Mechanical and electrical assembly skills.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 6 months in high volume small part assembly with a microscope.

Work Environment

This position operates within a manufacturing cleanroom environment, requiring adherence to strict hygiene and safety standards. Employees will work in close stations, using microscopes for up to 90% of their shift. The shift starts at either 3:30 pm or 3:45 pm, with the flexibility to begin an hour earlier if needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.50/hr.
