Overview

Manage the day-to-day deliverables and act as the primary point of contact for clients on requests & questions. Responsible for developing recommendations with Associate Director, reviewing plan proposals, and ensuring flawless campaign activation. This role is a hybrid strategy and activation role, with a strong focus on activation of digital plans.

Responsibilities

Account Management:

The primary point of contact for clients on requests and questions.

Oversee and manage Planner and Associate Planner and day-to-day operations, including prioritization of projects.

Build and maintain relationships with media publishers and meet with new vendors to assess the value and applicability.

Embraces and encourages a culture based on teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity

Assists in training, mentoring, and developing team members

Assists in the development and documentation of best practices for improving operational efficiencies within the team and the group

Strategy and Planning:

Research and provide input for executive-level strategic requests

Work with AD to develop integrated tactical plans

Owns the strategy and planning process as well as activation of Retail Media programs based on client approved annual plans, including all client communication for campaign planning.

Keeps management apprised of key client opportunities, potential risks and other key nuances which affect the health of the business

Effectively creates and delivers client presentations and provides thought leadership to clients

Commands data analysis of key metrics to identify, recommend and implement changes for increasing the performance of client programs

Review plans submitted by internal agency and vendor partners

Provide recommendations for possible changes in channel strategy moving forward.

Review and provide input on Digital RFPs and brief vendors

With AD, lead the conversation with partners in the development of plan recommendations and revisions (including tagging capabilities).

Negotiate rates are based on historical planning rates.

Work with Analytics on measurement framework.

Review recommended plans versus the brief to ensure strategic alignment and integrate historical campaign learnings.

Activation and Reporting:

Oversee the execution of approved media plans

Manage client/vendor communication on campaign timelines

Review all campaign inputs into Prisma for final approval

Ensure all tagging requirements are followed

Follow up with client on creative delivery and hand off creative to partners

Check and confirm all partners have received tags and QA'd for launch

Work with direct reports and partners to ensure campaigns have strong performance

Input into wrap reports insights and check for accuracy

Billing:

Support direct reports on reconciliations in draft billing every month

Update monthly billing tracker

Consult on ad-hoc billing/payment issues or requests from vendors

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

3+ years of media agency experience, with an emphasis on Retail Media platforms.

Knowledge of key retailers, their ecosystems, and go-to-market strategies

Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods industry (CPG) preferred

Comfortable navigating up, across, and diagonally; capable of voicing a strong POV with senior audiences

Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills; able to manage multiple projects & people

Experience analyzing complex data, market research, and formulating actionable plans.

Solid experience with the billing and reconciliation process.

Demonstrate problem solving and intervention when necessary.

Effective time management and organizational skills, as well as strong attention to detail.

Entrepreneurial spirit and high self-motivation

Business Competencies:

Computer Skills: Microsoft Suite, Kantar Software, IMS, Audience Research tools, Prisma, Comscore, Excel, PowerPoint, 3rd Party Adserver (DFA Certified preferred), Nielsen, @Plan, AdRelevance, Media tools

Demonstrate willingness and ability to learn propriety software.

Compensation Range: $59,850 - $90,620 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
