Barbuto, in the West Village, is a New York dining landmark created by Chef Jonathan Waxman. Known for ingredient-driven Italian-inspired cooking, our kitchen celebrates simplicity, seasonality, and technique. We’re looking for cooks who want to grow, learn, and contribute to one of the most respected restaurants in the city.

Responsibilities
    •    Execute mise en place and service at a high level of organization and speed.
    •    Work pasta, grill, or veg stations (experience with fresh pasta is a plus).
    •    Uphold plating standards — food should be beautiful, vibrant, and true to Barbuto’s ethos.
    •    Collaborate with the team to create delicious, seasonal family meals.
    •    Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.

What We’re Looking For
    •    2 + year of professional kitchen experience (school or externship counts).
    •    Passion for seasonality, Italian flavors, and learning new techniques.
    •    A positive, team-oriented attitude — we thrive when everyone contributes.

Perks
