Chicago, IL Hybrid (2-3 days in the office) Join a high-impact finance team that’s shaping strategy at the executive level. At Heidrick & Struggles, we’re looking for a driven Manager of FP&A to play a critical role in delivering insights that influence top-tier decision-making. As a key business partner to global leaders, you’ll lead the development of enterprise-wide financial forecasts, scenario modeling, and performance reporting—powered by Anaplan. This is more than a reporting role: it’s a strategic seat at the table where finance helps drive growth, innovation, and operational efficiency across a global organization. Responsibilities: Own and enhance the financial planning process — drive annual budgets, long-range plans, and rolling forecasts using Anaplan. Translate data into strategy — deliver financial insights that support decision-making by the Management Committee, Board of Directors, and senior business leaders. Lead Anaplan development and integration — manage and improve forecasting, reporting, and scenario analysis capabilities within Anaplan. Collaborate cross-functionally — work closely with business units and corporate teams to understand performance drivers and surface opportunities for efficiency and growth. Develop and present dashboards and reports — create executive-level management reporting using a mix of Anaplan, Excel, and visualization tools like Power BI. Support strategic initiatives — partner on ROI assessments, capital planning, and resource allocation decisions. Mentor team members — contribute to a high-performing, collaborative FP&A team and help cultivate a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 5–7 years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance, with hands-on experience in Anaplan. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights. Proven experience collaborating with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and executive presentation skills. Preferred: MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced degree. Prior team leadership or mentoring experience. Exposure to corporate strategy, capital planning, and performance optimization. Familiarity with Power BI or other business intelligence tools. Experience operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Seniority level
