Job Title: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 hours (14:30 - 23:00) Experience: Minimum 5 years required; 10 years preferred License: Valid license preferred Certifications: ARDMS, BLS, RVT Must-Have: Experience with adult, ER, ICU, portables Description: This position is for an evening shift from 14:30 to 23:00 hours. The role includes rotating call duties every 4 weeks and weekend shifts once every 4 weeks. The average daily census is 23 visits per day. The unit consists of 3 private RVT rooms. The patient population includes adolescents to geriatrics. Staffing ratios are 1:3 on weekdays and 1:1 on weekends. The ultrasound tech should be adaptable and flexible to change. Experience with various procedures such as Aorta Arterial Graft Studies, Arterial Mapping, Carotid Color Flow Doppler Studies, and Duplex studies is required. Familiarity with equipment like Philips Epiq Elite and Viasonix Falcon Pro is beneficial. Candidates must possess strong management and leadership experience. Previous charge experience is preferred, and prior experience with charting systems is required. This role requires a deep understanding of vascular procedures and patient care in a fluid environment. Candidates should be prepared for 3-4 weekend shifts per contract. Two professional references from recent assignments will be needed. Candidates must float within the facility as needed. Those with background checks may be considered if only minor infractions are present.
