Overview
Job Summary The Maintenance Tech 2 role requires a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. This role will perform advanced maintenance tasks, diagnose issues, and ensure the optimal functioning of equipment. Required Soft Skills and Abilities Ability to work effectively in a multi-functional team environment. Proficiency in using computers and tablets to input data into maintenance management systems. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications. Physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Responsibilities
Functions and Responsibilities Machine Maintenance Perform routine service and preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various machines. Replace components such as cylinders, pumps, bearings, and other machine parts. Set up and conduct minor repairs on hand tools and machinery. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues related to machine operations. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repair assistance, parts procurement, and service-related needs. Conduct troubleshooting and minor repairs on air compressors and associated systems. Install machine-related systems including vacuum lines, ductwork, and other auxiliary components. Operate various types of mobile equipment, including proficiency in using a 60-ft articulating lift. Building and Facility Maintenance Responsibilities Diagnose and repair plumbing issues involving toilets, urinals, sinks, and water coolers. Install and replace water cooler filters. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including breakers, panel boxes, lighting fixtures, and other related components. Replace ballasts and light fixtures as needed. Maintain roof drainage systems including gutters and downspouts. Perform minor repairs on building doors, roll-up doors, and security gates. Repair and replace ceiling tiles
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications 4 years of experience with a high school diploma or GED. Completion of a certified apprenticeship program, preferred. Journeyman license, preferred.
