We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused
Maintenance Mechanic
to join our industrial team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance to ensure the reliable operation of facility equipment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in mechanical systems and trades such as welding, pipefitting, fabrication, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform industrial maintenance tasks including inspection, repair, and troubleshooting Use tools such as hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments Work with systems involving pumps, gearboxes, bearings, lubrication, and piping Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals Operate forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts Accurately document maintenance activities using computer software Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth facility operations Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in industrial maintenance Able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces Comfortable working in various indoor/outdoor environments (heat, cold, noise, dust) Ability to work in elevated areas and with PPE Willing to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts as needed Preferred Qualifications
Trade school certification or military technical experience Experience in multiple trades: welding, electrical, pipefitting, hydraulics, etc. Familiarity with safe work practices (e.g., hazard analysis, confined space entry) Experience with laser alignment, dial indicators, or other precision maintenance tools Benefits
