The
HVAC Technician
candidate will already have some experience, be self-motivated, have flexible hours, and be able to work alone or as part of a team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Use blueprints or design specifications to install or repair HVACR systems Connect systems to fuel and water supply lines, air ducts, and other components Install electrical wiring and controls and test for proper operation Inspect and maintain customers' HVACR systems, test individual components to determine necessary repairs, and repair or replace worn or defective parts Determine HVACR systems' energy use and make recommendations to improve efficiency Service and repair all resort refrigeration units (kitchen walk-in/reach-in, ice machines, ice cream machines, etc.) Service and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and their components (boilers, pump valves, blowers, air compressors, pneumatic controls, etc.) Service and repair kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, broilers, mixers, steamers, steam tables, automatic door openers, wet belts, etc Qualifications:
Valid apprentice card Minimum of
3 years
of HVAC or relative experience HVAC training is preferred Basic computer skills Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and nights Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching Can safely lift and/or move up to
80 pounds
