Job Summary: St. Rose High School is seeking a dedicated and versatile
Technology Coordinator
to manage and support the school's technology infrastructure, systems, and user needs. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and secure operation of technology resources while supporting faculty, staff, and students with reliable and responsive service.
This hands-on position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance behind-the-scenes systems management with user-facing support. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and committed to contributing to a thriving school community.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Systems Management Maintain and support school file servers, shared drives, and print services (configuration, updates, access). Oversee the campus-wide network and Wi-Fi infrastructure to ensure consistent and secure internet access. Manage and support the building's door access and security camera systems, including maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting. Administer and manage Google Workspace for Education, including account setup, access, and ongoing support. Hardware & Device Support
Support and maintain staff and faculty laptops, including setup, troubleshooting, and replacement planning. Manage student Chromebooks: repairs, inventory, updates, and coordination of new device orders. Oversee classroom presentation technology (TVs, casting devices, etc.) to ensure reliable use. Maintain and support printers and copiers, including supplies and service needs. Communications & Office Technology
Provide general support for school communication systems, including phones and teleconferencing tools. Serve as a primary point of contact for tech support across all platforms used by students, faculty, and staff. Maintain the school website and domain settings, ensuring accurate content and functional infrastructure. Administrative & Planning Responsibilities
Assist with technology-related grant applications, especially for security and infrastructure upgrades. Keep up-to-date documentation of system logins, procedures, and network layouts. Support vendor relations, contracts, and RFP processes for technology-related services. Help assess, plan, and implement future technology upgrades and replacements. Qualifications:
Experience managing networks, servers, and Wi-Fi infrastructure Proficiency with Google Workspace for Education and Windows operating systems Familiarity with security systems such as door access and video surveillance Strong communication, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a school environment Organizational skills in managing inventory, documentation, and vendor interactions Experience in educational IT environments preferred Experience or interest in grant writing a plus St. Rose High School is an equal opportunity employer, respecting the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and the rights of its religious organization.
