About The Position

Travel Mammo Technologist

for a 13-week assignment

13 weeks (Possible extension) Schedule/Shift: 40 hours/week: Monday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, & Saturdays: 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Overview of Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of mammography procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and exceptional patient care. Perform screening, diagnostic, and needle localization procedures.

Conduct 3D mammography (tomosynthesis).

Manage a high-volume workload, averaging 18-22 scans on weekdays (15 minutes for screenings; 30 minutes for call backs/diagnostics) and 9-10 scans on Saturdays.

Primarily serve an adult patient population.

Utilize FUJI equipment for EMR and PACs.

Collaborate with on-site Radiologists and partners who are highly engaged with women's imaging quality.

Job Requirements Qualifications & Experience: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Current Mammography certification (M) with the ARRT or ARDMS.

A minimum of

2 years

of professional scanning experience post-(M) registry completion.

Proficiency in performing both screening and diagnostic procedures.

Must be able to provide documentation of mammo training completion/case numbers.

Must possess a valid NJ DEP X-ray license.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; prior outpatient radiology experience is a plus.

Openness to constructive feedback on image quality from engaged on-site clinical partners.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): Experience with biopsy procedures is a plus.
