Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
Quality Control Manager (QCM)
with a strong background in
federal construction
to join a respected and growing General Contractor. This role involves
travel to federal project sites across the United States
and comes with an excellent
travel package
and full company support.
Key Responsibilities: Implement and maintain the
Quality Control Plan (QCP)
in compliance with federal contract documents and
USACE/NAVFAC
standards.
Conduct and document
three-phase inspections
(Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up) for all definable features of work.
Review and approve submittals for accuracy and contract compliance.
Maintain QC documentation including daily reports, testing logs, and deficiency tracking.
Coordinate with
Contracting Officers, CORs, and QA personnel
to ensure all project requirements are met.
Partner with project management and field teams to uphold quality and schedule integrity.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of QC experience on
federal or military construction projects .
Strong understanding of
USACE/NAVFAC standards
and the
three-phase inspection process .
CQM-C (Construction Quality Management for Contractors)
certification required.
OSHA 30 preferred.
Excellent documentation, organization, and communication skills.
