Fisher Phillips, a premier international labor and employment law firm, is excited to invite a talented and experienced Proposal Development Manager to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will support the firm's commitment to excellence by enhancing our client service delivery through tailored and impactful proposals. The Proposal Development Manager will be instrumental in driving the growth of the firm, leading the creation of customized, client-oriented proposals. This includes responding to RFPs, RFIs, and informal requests while collaborating with attorneys, marketing, business development, and essential administrative departments. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses exceptional writing and project management skills, known for their strategic thinking and ability to effectively engage stakeholders and meet deadlines. Key Responsibilities

Proposal Development and Management

Oversee the end-to-end proposal process, from initial scoping to delivery, for complex RFPs, RFIs, and other client opportunities. Work closely with attorneys, practice group leaders, and cross-functional teams to craft tailored responses that highlight the firm’s strengths. Draft, edit, and finalize compelling proposal components, including executive summaries, firm overviews, attorney bios, industry content, and firm differentiators. Ensure all proposals meet RFP compliance, including format, deadlines, and submission criteria. Collaboration and Strategy

Act as a strategic consultant to attorneys on proposal strategies that align with the firm’s branding and long-term objectives. Track and evaluate proposal performance metrics and ROI. Utilize research tools to gather relevant data and insights for proposal content. Project Management

Coordinate contributions from attorneys and other stakeholders to guarantee timely completion of proposal sections and the overall response. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline. Advanced degree or legal industry certifications (e.g., APMP, JD, MBA) are an advantage. 6+ years of experience in proposal writing and management within a law firm or professional services context. Proficient in crafting responses to complex RFPs for legal or similar professional services. Familiarity with online purchasing systems and procurement processes. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities. Strong project management skills, with an ability to prioritize under pressure. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with CRM tools like Foundation and OnePlace is beneficial. In-depth knowledge of legal industry trends, client expectations, and the competitive landscape. Why Join Us
