About the Role
As the Interim CFO, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company’s financial strategy while ensuring fiscal health. Collaborating with the CEO, you will assess current financial operations, develop robust financial plans, manage investor relations, and oversee all financial operations. You will lead the Finance department, Capital Markets, Project Finance, FP&A, and Administrative Accounting.
What You’ll Do:
Leadership, Mentorship, and Collaboration:
Partner with the leadership team to ensure effective controls and decision-making.
Build relationships and establish KPIs and metrics for success.
Train and mentor the in-house financial team and any external vendors.
Help foster an inclusive and diverse workplace culture.
Fundraising and Investor Management:
Collaborate with the CEO to create strategies that support growth and sustainability.
Develop strategies for capital raising and manage investor relations effectively.
Enhance financial models to support fundraising efforts.
Manage relationships with Board members, investors, lenders, and other stakeholders.
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
Oversee financial planning, cash management, and risk management.
Implement effective budgeting and forecasting processes.
Enhance financial performance management and profitability analysis.
Controls and Compliance:
Guide the VP of Finance in implementing scalable financial systems.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.

Self-motivated, strategic thinker with ownership of the Finance & Legal Team.
Willing to work from our Midtown Manhattan office Monday through Friday.
What You Have:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or CPA highly desired.
Prior experience as a CFO in a successful company, particularly post-profitability.
10+ years in progressively responsible financial and operational leadership roles.
Proven ability to lead diverse stakeholders, including the executive team.
Strong relationship-building and collaborative skills.
Extraordinary interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Experience in capital markets, financial partnerships, and M&A transactions.
Experience with early- to mid-stage funding strategies.
