Position Summary

The Quality Control Manager (QCM) is responsible for implementing, managing, and documenting all aspects of the project Quality Control Program in accordance with NAVFAC and USACE requirements. Working closely with the Project Manager, Superintendent, and SSHO, the QCM ensures that all construction activities comply with contract plans, specifications, and submittals. This role serves as the central authority on quality matters, leading the Three Phases of Control, managing submittals, and maintaining project documentation in coordination with Triton's corporate and field teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Pre-Construction

Develop the project-specific Quality Control Plan (QCP) in coordination with the Project Manager and Superintendent. Lead and document the Coordination and Mutual Understanding (CQM) Meeting prior to the start of construction. Review contract drawings and specifications to ensure all quality requirements are incorporated into field planning. Establish submittal register and tracking log; coordinate with Project Engineer and design team for timely submittal review and approvals. Support the development of the Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) and integrate QC considerations into the project's Accident Prevention Plan (APP). Construction Phase

Execute and document the Three Phases of Control (Preparatory, Initial, Follow-Up) for all definable features of work (DFOWs). Conduct and document daily quality control inspections in compliance with the approved QCP and EM 385-1-1. Verify all work complies with contract specifications, approved submittals, and design intent. Coordinate and document all testing, special inspections, and third-party verification activities. Track and close out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Deficiency Notices; ensure corrective actions are implemented. Support the Superintendent in field problem solving and constructability reviews. Lead weekly QC meetings and coordinate with subcontractors on quality and documentation requirements. Maintain and submit daily QC reports, testing logs, submittal logs, and as-built drawings. Closeout

Oversee punch list development and completion in coordination with the Owner and Project Manager. Compile final redline drawing packages, as-built documentation, and testing records Prepare the QC portion of the project completion package and assist with commissioning requirements. Minimum Qualifications

Valid driver's license AND passport OR enhanced drivers license Minimum

years of experience as a Quality Control Manager on federal construction projects. Minimum

combined years of experience as Superintendent, Project Engineer, Project Manager, or QC Manager on similar type and size contracts. Successful completion of the NAVFAC/USACE "Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors" course (current certificate required). Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug screening. Ability to pass pre-employment background check Must be able to obtain federal base access (background check required). Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software (ProjectSight, Procore, or equivalent). Strong computer literacy and ability to use NAVFAC mandated eCMS Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented and self-motivated. Familiar with USACE EM 385-1-1 and NAVFAC QC procedures. Preferred Qualifications

Prior NAVFAC, USACE, or federal contracting experience with Design-Bid-Build or Design-Build delivery. Experience on heavy-civil, marine, or waterfront construction projects. Work Conditions

Office hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Field hours vary depending on project needs Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check required Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions for extended hours Must be able to walk, sit, climb, bend, crawl, and perform other physical activities throughout the workday Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100,000 to $125,000 Actual base compensation offered will be determined based on multiple factors, including relevant skills and experience.
