Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP/PPE/Safety, SQF, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes. Ability to understand Production Schedules and key production data (i.e: lot numbers, SKU’s, etc.) and understand current production flow and product specifications. Ability to recognize inconsistencies per product specifications (i.e: Foreign objects, miss-labeling, etc.), to recognize damaged or poor quality raw product and ensure the product is free of foreign material. Knowledge & understanding of how to maintain a safe work environment, maintain a clean work area, responsible for the proper and safe handling and care of the equipment and works safely around moving equipment & conveyors in a wet environment. The Runner is responsible for stocking the production line with required ingredients. The Runner will ensure the correct product is supplied to the line. They are also responsible for refilling ingredients as needed. Inspect , properly adjust, or apply labels manually The Dumper is responsible for supplying the line with the main ingredients needed. The Dumper works closely with the Kitchen and Frontline Coordinator to verify the correct ingredients are being supplied. The Decanter is responsible for providing proper ingredients to the Kitchen based on priority and/or production schedule. The Decanter works closely with the IM Clerks and Kitchen staff to confirm the proper products are being used. The Kitchen TM2 is responsible for opening the ingredients provided by the Decanter and supplying the correct ingredients to the line based on schedule and communication with the Frontline Coordinator. The Kitchen associates work closely with the Runner and Dumper to ensure the correct ingredients are being opened at the correct time. Communicate verbally & in writing to complete required documentation. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of GMP’s , Safety Guidelines and HACCP & Sanitation guidelines & processes Reading, Writing, Speaking English Preferred. Willingness to work in a cold environment. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Able to work a flexible schedule & Ability to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to understand plant KPI’s (production, quality & safety). Ability to be crossed trained & multitask in multiple positions. GED/High School Diploma Preferred.
Physical Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, this position entails use of ladders and catwalks to reach production equipment, regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to extreme cold for extended periods of time. The associate frequently works in high, precarious places. The associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
