Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years License: Valid license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CCI RCIS Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience - BLS certification - ACLS certification - Experience in interventional radiology, vascular, and neuro procedures - High school diploma or equivalent Description: This position requires 13 weeks of work, with 40 hours per week in a 4x10 schedule. Shifts are from 07:00 to 17:30 or can be adjusted to 5x8 with hours of 07:00 to 15:30 or 08:30 to 17:00 if preferred. Travelers are expected to float as needed and assist in training and educating peers. On-call requirements include approximately one in three weeknights and weekends. The daily census ranges from 8 to 20 cases per day with 3 rooms available. Travelers are required to help train and educate peers. The unit supports various interdisciplinary teams for patient care. Special procedures may include cardiac catheterizations, vascular closure, and the use of specialized equipment. Travelers should be prepared for compliance with additional requirements within specified timelines. Pre-approved time off is permitted, and adherence to hospital protocols is expected.
