Maintenance Technician
opportunity in Columbia, SC. In this role you'll support a cutting-edge manufacturing plant; ensuring production equipment stays reliable and efficient through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. You'll work with a variety of modern machinery-including multi-axis and Swiss CNC systems-helping minimize downtime and keep operations running at peak performance.

Second Shift: 3pm-11:30pm M-F
Role
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines, including multi-axis and Swiss CNC equipment Diagnose issues, replace parts, and make machining adjustments to keep equipment operating efficiently Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems Maintain organized maintenance records and communicate findings to supervisors Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve productivity Follow strict safety and 5S standards to keep work areas clean and compliant Minimum Requirements:
2-4 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance Ability to safely use hand and power tools Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, diagrams, and schematics High School Diploma or GED Preferred Skills:
Experience with
Swiss CNC machinery and 5-axis machining Vocational training or certification in mechanical, electrical, or HVAC fields Preventive maintenance program experience in a manufacturing setting
