Position Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and tech-savvy

Digital Communications Sr. Specialist

to lead and manage the Company's internal and external digital communications strategy. This role plays a key part in shaping how we engage with internal and external stakeholders through digital channels. The ideal candidate will offer strong communication skills with technical fluency and a deep understanding of digital tools and trends.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Strategy & Platform Management Develop and execute an integrated digital communications strategy aligned with Company goals. Oversee day-to-day operations, governance and content planning for the Company's website, intranet, social media channels and other digital platforms. Manage digital content calendar, aligning it with the overarching Company content calendar, and ensure timely, consistent messaging across all digital channels. Monitor performance metrics, leveraging insights to help drive business decisions. Manage SEO efforts, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building to enhance organic search performance. Content Creation & Curation

Partner with cross-functional teams to create compelling, brand-aligned content for digital distribution, including web articles, employee updates, high-quality graphics, digital assets and video content. Maintain consistent voice, tone, and messaging across internal and external platforms, aligning with Company brand. Ensure all digital content meets accessibility and usability standards. Internal Communications

Oversee the function-led, Company intranet platform, promoting applicable guidelines while helping keep employees informed and engaged. Support leadership and business function areas through the intranet, Viva Engage and other internal digital platforms. Recommend and implement tools that improve internal communication efficiency and collaboration. External Communications

Oversee the Company's digital presence on public-facing platforms including the Company's websites and social media. Oversight of location/site-run social accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance and brand alignment. Regularly update and optimize global websites to ensure content accuracy, relevance and alignment with SEO best practices. Collaborate with other members of the Corporate Communications team to amplify announcements, campaigns and brand initiatives online. Ensure messaging supports reputation management and thought leadership positioning as well as Company's brand narrative. Technology & Compliance

Serve as a point of contact for digital communication tools and vendors. Work with Company's Information Services and Legal teams to confirm data privacy, security and compliance with applicable digital communications standards (e.g., GDPR, ADA). Keep up to date with evolving digital tools and trends, recommending new platforms or enhancements as needed. Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, digital media or related field. 5+ years of experience in digital communications, content strategy or related roles, preferably in a corporate, global or matrixed environment. Proven experience managing intranet platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Staffbase), CMS (e.g., WordPress, Drupal), HTML/CSS and social media platforms. Strong writing, editing and visual storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail. Advanced skills in graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) and video editing (intermediate level). Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Experience using analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprinklr) to inform strategy and optimize content. Familiarity with digital accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and SEO best practices.
