Service Center Manager-Sante Fe Springs, CA
This role will report to the Group Vice President.
Responsibilities include:
Manage the Operations, Logistics, and Program Management activities associated with the assigned Service Center to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of products.
Work with the Regional management team to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
Ensure Customer programs meet expectations through customer engagement, audits, and routine maintenance of bins and racks.
Coordinate with Customers, Sales, Distribution Center, and Supply Chain to ensure that optimal Service center and program inventory levels are maintained for program customers. Including adjusting SC min/max, program bin quantity, and replenishment schedule.
Provide leadership to the Service Center associates to implement best practices, improve efficiencies, and facilitate operational continuous improvement projects.
Support operations projects such as customer launches, program implementations, and expansion or reduction of operating facilities to support Service Center activity.
Responsible for monitoring & facilitating dock-dock & discrete orders being shipped from DC
Responsible for delivery vehicle maintenance, repairs, and compliance.
Other duties as required.
LOCATION:
Primary work location will be Sante Fe Springs, CA
Travel requirements will be limited.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of five years of operations management experience in a supervisory capacity.
Minimum of five years of experience with VMI, Kanban, or other inventory systems requiring a triggered replenishment from a warehouse infrastructure.
A working knowledge of inventory management (APICS certification a plus)
Knowledge of ERP systems and processes.
Experience with facility management.
Experience with fasteners and fastener quality standards strongly preferred.
Work Hours: 8
AM-5PM, Monday-Friday
Targeted Salary:
90-115k (depending on experience)
