Drive specialized heavy haul for Tucker Transportation. Join our professional, expert team and be responsible for the safe transport of critical equipment from across the Rocky Mountain Range and Central US. We offer top pay, a modern, well-maintained fleet, and value getting our drivers guaranteed home time. This is a demanding role requiring high skill and a strong commitment to safety and compliance as both an operator and a driver.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of verifiable, professional experience operating hydraulic truck cranes in industrial settings.

Licensing (Driving): Current and valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is mandatory.

Certification (Lifting): Must possess a current and valid Crane Operator Certification (e.g., NCCCO or equivalent).

Safety: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last three years.

Compliance: Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening, and remain fully DOT compliant.

: Must be 21 years of or older.

Key Responsibilities

As a Crane Operator for Tucker Transportation, you will be relied upon to:

Execute Complex Lifts: Safely and proficiently operate hydraulic truck cranes to hoist, move, position, and place critical materials and equipment on challenging industrial sites.

Transportation & Setup: Drive the crane (or accompanying vehicle) to and from job sites, ensuring legal load securement and compliance with all DOT regulations.

Compliance & Logs: Complete all required pre-trip/post-trip inspections (DVIRs), maintain accurate electronic logs, and handle regulatory paperwork meticulously.

Lift Planning: Perform detailed daily pre-lift inspections, review lift plans, and ensure all operations adhere to load charts, safety standards, and proper rigging practices.

Equipment Care: Perform routine maintenance checks and minor field adjustments, immediately reporting mechanical issues.
