The Breakfast Buffet Attendant is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and clearing the breakfast buffet area. This includes preparing food items, ensuring cleanliness, restocking supplies, and providing excellent customer service to guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up the breakfast buffet with all required food items, utensils, and condiments before guest arrival.
Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards throughout the service.
Restock items promptly to ensure the buffet remains well supplied during breakfast hours.
Greet guests warmly and assist them as needed.
Handle guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and timely manner.
Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and buffet area regularly.
Clear used dishes and utensils and transport them to the kitchen/dishwashing area.
At the end of service, break down the buffet setup and properly store food items.
Monitor food temperatures and report any issues with equipment or food quality.
Follow hotel policies and procedures, including sanitation and safety guidelines.
