The company seeks a dynamic Vice President of Pricing Strategy to lead the transformation of pricing operations for one of its largest business units. This key role is vital for aligning pricing practices with our growth objectives, fostering collaboration with sales, and innovating pricing to enhance commercial impact. The chosen candidate will provide strategic leadership in crafting and executing a comprehensive pricing approach that drives revenue growth, expands margins, and differentiates us in the market. Additionally, they will guide a talented team of pricing professionals, nurture a culture of innovation, and forge strong partnerships with sales leadership to ensure pricing strategies are seamlessly integrated with go-to-market plans and client needs.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess a minimum of 10 years of proven leadership experience in pricing, preferably within a high-growth technology, SaaS, or data platform environment. A robust understanding of various pricing methodologies, particularly value-based pricing, along with a strong commercial strategy background, is essential. The successful applicant will also have a proven record of developing and leading pricing teams that deliver measurable business results. This role requires solid analytical and financial skills, excellent communication capabilities, strong stakeholder management competencies, and experience in commercial negotiations. The candidate should excel in cross-functional collaboration with sales, finance, product, and marketing teams. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an MBA or relevant master's degree.
