Maintenance Mechanic , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. Your responsibilities will include: Performing preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. Following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions. Locating and identifying sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and using precision measuring and testing instruments. Dismantling defective parts and utilizing cranes, hoists, and hand tools to replace them. Inspecting used parts for dimensional changes by using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. Adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments with precision hand tools. Collaborating with production workers to minimize downtime by promoting adherence to routine preventive maintenance techniques. Fabricating repair parts using machine shop instrumentation and equipment as necessary. Managing inventory of maintenance supplies by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, and placing orders as required. Using maintenance resources efficiently to contribute to job goal achievements. Providing valuable mechanical maintenance information to team members and responding to inquiries. Preparing and analyzing mechanical maintenance reports to track information and trends. Staying up-to-date with technical knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing publications. Documenting and sharing actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs to maintain continuity within work teams. Upholding a safe and clean working environment in compliance with all procedures and regulations. Contributing positively to the team by achieving related results as needed.
