Join EY-Parthenon, a global consulting firm, to shape your future with confidence. This role is part of the Deals - Financial Diligence - Sell Side team, supporting CEOs, Boards, Private Equity and Governments through divestitures and carve‑out transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Support large, high‑profile sell‑side projects across diverse industry sectors.
Prepare carve‑out financial statements for audit and SEC filings.
Collaborate with teammates in EY-Parthenon International Tax, Transaction Services, Valuation Modelling and Economics.
Integrate into complex client teams and build long‑lasting relationships.
Develop staff and senior team members, ensuring their career development.
Skills & Attributes for Success
Experience handling divestitures, including carve‑outs, spins and full‑enterprise sales.
Analyze financial and operational results of businesses through accounting record review and management interviews.
Assist clients with SEC filings and carve‑out audited financial statements.
Keep up to date on industry trends, technologies, cash‑flow seasonality and cyclicality.
Strong Excel skills; knowledge of Alteryx and Power BI is a plus.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and ~4 years of related experience.
Significant public accounting experience.
Excellent analytical skills and confidence to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Ability to prioritize projects and adapt quickly.
Solid negotiation and influencing skills.
Reside within commutable distance to an office location.
Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when required.
Ability to identify and assess business and technical issues, distill insights, and deliver strategic recommendations to executives.
Preferred Experience
Record of excellence in audit and/or M&A transaction roles.
Active CPA certification.
Experience in a large professional services organization.
Established networking skills in a relevant industry.
Knowledge of firm‑approved AI tools, e.g., Microsoft Copilot.
What We Offer
Comprehensive compensation and benefits package: base salary range US-wide $120,400–$220,700; higher ranges in NYC, Washington, CA (excluding Sacramento) $144,500–$250,900. Compensation varies by education, experience, skills, geography.
