Graton Resort & Casino
Position Summary:
The Kitchen Worker position is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's Service Standards at all times. 2. Scrape, rinse and load dishes and utensils into a dish machine. 3. Wash and sanitize food equipment, pans, utensils, and dishes. 4. Clean, sanitize and maintain dish machines. 5. Empty trash containers regularly. Remove trash bin from kitchen to sanitation area. 6. Maintain a clean work area and kitchen by sweeping and mopping as needed. 7. Clean food prep stations and kitchen equipment. 8. Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned. 9. Ensure that all caution, safety markers are displayed properly. 10. Assemble and disassemble equipment and clean it. 11. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form. 2. Must be able to obtain a gaming license through the Graton Gaming Commission. 3. Must possess or obtain a California Food Handlers Certification. 4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 5. Must be at least 18 years of age. 6. Working knowledge of soaps, chemicals, and sanitation techniques.
Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push 150-250 pounds on a pushcart, and enter walk-ins of -10 degrees to 140 degrees with or without assistance. 2. Ability to stand for duration of shift, bend and reach to a height of six feet with or without assistance. 3. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
