Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and logistics, is seeking a Shipping and Material Handler to join their team. As a Shipping and Material Handler, you will be part of the Purchasing and Shipping department supporting operations in Springfield, MO. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

7:00 AM to 3:30-4:00 PM, Monday through Friday
What's the Job?
Prepare and process outbound shipments, including creating and maintaining Bills of Lading (BOLs) and all related documents
Coordinate with third-party logistics providers to initiate and track material movements
Ensure accuracy of Advance Ship Notices (ASNs) and monitor shipment loading onto carriers
Respond to Proof of Delivery (POD) inquiries and monitor delivery compliance through customer portals
Verify incoming materials and maintain records of shipment labels and inventory reports
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1-2 years of data entry experience
2-4 years of purchasing experience with knowledge of supply chain management
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Access, and Outlook
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
