OVERVIEW:

This position will play a meaningful support role on the Real Estate Development team. The Sr. Development Manager will have responsibility for assisting with all aspects of real estate development and provide support for several projects in various stages of pre-development as well as future pursuits. The Sr. Development Manager ensures alignment with company goals and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Must be able to travel, have an acceptable driving record, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Lead financial modeling, market analysis, and feasibility studies for new development opportunities across varying asset classes and product types. Support deal structuring, financing, and capitalization efforts. Oversee all aspects of the development process including entitlement, design, financing, construction, and lease-up. Manage designers, engineers, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders. Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful and timely execution. Manage local, state, and federal permitting processes including preparation and submission of permitting packages and coordinating with consultant teams and public officials. Conduct detailed due diligence on sites, including zoning, environmental and legal reviews, managing consultants, municipal documentation review, and preparation. Anticipate and resolve issues to minimize project risk. Serve as detail-oriented point of accountability across multiple projects. Lead project reporting efforts including processing monthly draw request, leveling consultant bids, budget tracking, management of consultant contracts, preparation of agendas and meeting minutes, furnishing information, applications, and reports to public agencies and third parties. Assist in preparing offering memorandum packages used in the solicitation of investor commitments and/or debt financing. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in real estate development, acquisitions or financial analysis, strong financial modeling and underwriting skills, proven track record in project management with ability to juggle multiple deadlines and stakeholders, and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Master's degree in real estate, finance, or other related field.

WAGE & BENEFIT INFORMATION:

The full salary range for this position is $150,000.00 to $225,000.00 per year. People entering this job typically start between $150,000.00 and $180,000.00 per year, depending on direct professional experience, education, and qualifications.

Lakeside Industries, Inc. provides a comprehensive benefits package to its full-time Admin employees (and their families) that includes medical with prescription coverage, HSA/FSA, dental, vision reimbursement program, Life/AD&D, LTD, 401k (with employer matching plus discretionary Company Profit Sharing contributions), 128 accrued hours of PTO, extended illness time accrued at five (5) days per year up to a maximum of 200 hours, EAP, wellness program, and eight (8) paid holidays.
