Quality Control Manager - Electronics Manufacturing Location: Colorado Springs, CO Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 annually (based on experience) Full-time | On-site
Job Store Professional is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager on behalf of a leading manufacturer of high-performance electronic products. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on quality leader with deep experience in PCB and electronics manufacturing who thrives on building systems, leading teams, and ensuring products meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and compliance.
What You'll Do Oversee detailed quality inspections for PCBs, electronic assemblies, and precision sheet metal components. Maintain and improve quality documentation, including control plans, work instructions, and compliance records. Lead root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement effective CAPA processes. Track, analyze, and report key quality metrics such as yield, defect rates, and customer returns. Manage and mentor a dynamic QA team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, UL, and customer-specific quality requirements. Lead UL certification processes (UL 94, UL 508A, etc.) from component through final product. Prepare for and lead internal and external audits (ISO, UL, and customer audits). What You Bring
Must have PCB experience. 5+ years of QA/QC experience in PCBA manufacturing, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards and implementation practices. Proven experience managing UL certifications (UL 94, UL 508A, etc.). Deep knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600) and RoHS compliance. Skilled in root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies. Effective communication and leadership skills with cross-functional collaboration experience. Ability to inspect precision sheet metal components and assemblies to specification. Familiarity with DMT/DFR processes and RMA handling. Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification. Experience with ERP and QMS software systems. Background in high-reliability electronics manufacturing. Degree in Quality Management or related technical field (preferred, not required). What's Offered
