Job Purpose:

The PLM Production Manager will lead the department in the manufacturing of engineered paper used in dye sublimation photo printing. Through your technical knowledge and a hands-on approach, develop, implement, and sustain the consistent and repeatable process controls needed to produce the highest quality paper at the best available cost. The ideal candidate will have direct experience with high-speed web coating/extrusion/laminating operations in a multi shift operation.

Responsibilities: Implement actions to ensure the safety of people and processes and lead efforts to improve any items not meeting standards. Monitor, maintain and improve extrusion coating/laminating quality through analysis of operating data, performance trends, quality inspections, and process deviations. Identify and implement projects and activities to collect, monitor, and analyze process and production data. Identify, Manage, and implement projects and improvement plans for safety, quality, performance, and cost KPIs. Directly support the production team by leading efforts in troubleshooting, process audits, kaizen activities, and cross functional communication. Ensures accurate process, production, and inventory data are captured, monitored, and maintained. Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering on planned preventive maintenance and improvement projects. Coordinate, direct, develop, train, motivate and evaluate production leadership and staff. Develop and implement robust training for EH&S and Quality Management Systems. Provides insight and information to management on the progress of production activities, including follow up from complaints/corrective actions. Required Qualifications:

B.S. Degree in a technical field required, (Engineering, Science, Technology) 5 or more years of experience in manufacturing management. Management experience must be from a manufacturing environment. Experience using an ERP system for tracking production. Must have effective communication skills both written and verbal. Microsoft Office skills and experience required. Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures in an ISO9001/14001 Quality/Environmental Management System. Prior experience in film/paper coating, laminating, converting, or chemical processing. Experience with IIoT connected/monitored production equipment. Experience with maintenance Demonstrated ability to lead change and motivate people. Physical Demands:

Must be able to sit/stand for 8 hours The ability to use arms/hands/fingers to feel and reach Be able to bend/stoop/kneel as needed Must be able to hear and talk to communicate with customers Must be able to push/pull/ lift at least 45 lbs. individually and 50 lbs. with the help of a team member Ability to work in an office setting, and spend primary working hours at a desk using a computer and other office equipment such as printers, copiers, postage machines, etc. Must be able to use, handle, and manipulate items and materials, including hazardous materials, with proper material handling equipment/tools. Must complete 24/40-hour HazWoper Training and be medically qualified to wear respiratory protection. Safety Requirements

Physically able to pass spirometry exam for test fitting of respiratory equipment. Ability to wear required PPE (including safety glasses, gloves (nitrile, canvas, etc.), hearing protection, ANSI-approved footwear, and others as required.) in any manufacturing area. Ability to wear required PPE if in any manufacturing area.
