2-2-3 Rotating Schedule (11.5-hour shifts; rotates monthly between day/night; work half the month) The
Maintenance Technician
will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems across Bridgestone Golf's production facility. This role involves a balance of
preventive and corrective maintenance ,
PLC programming , and
equipment optimization
to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repair
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) activities and maintain PM logs. Inspect, dismantle, and rebuild machines and equipment as needed. Identify root causes of malfunctions through visual inspection, testing, and PLC diagnostics. Replace or repair defective parts using tools, machining, and welding techniques. Calibrate, test, and reassemble machinery after repair. PLC & Automation
Use and program
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
to identify issues and perform logic-based troubleshooting. Modify PLC programs and input/output configurations when required. Interpret ladder logic and electrical schematics. Technical Operations
Operate metalworking equipment (lathe, drill press, grinder, etc.) for fabrication or repairs. Develop and follow facility maintenance programs to prevent equipment downtime. Read and interpret mechanical/electrical blueprints and technical drawings. Safety & Compliance
Maintain safe work practices and comply with all Bridgestone Golf safety standards. Handle hazardous materials and tools responsibly. Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives. Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and arms, and handle tools. Occasionally lift or move up to
60 lbs . Work in noisy, temperature-variable environments (seasonally hot/cold). Must be available for
rotating shifts , weekends, and holidays as needed.
