Job Overview:
We are seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Oak Knoll Animal Hospital. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their furry companions. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, scheduling appointments, and assisting with various administrative tasks. If you have a passion for animals and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries
- Check-in patients and update their medical records
- Assist with filing and organizing paperwork
- Process payments and handle financial transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology is a plus
- Familiarity with animal handling techniques is beneficial
- Proficiency in using veterinary software systems is an advantage
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
