JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Middletown Operations team is seeking a dedicated Logistics professional to join our team and play a pivotal role in connecting our planning, logistics, and procurement functions with the manufacturing group.
JOB DUTIES:
Warehouse and Inventory Management:
Oversee warehouse operations to ensure inventory and transaction accuracy.
Manage warehouse team resources and development.
Develop and implement cycle count and physical inventory count programs across various programs and contracts.
Manage compliance tracking and reporting of Government Furnished Material and Property.
Continuously manage and adjust space utilization and requirements due to changes in inventory levels across projects.
ERP and MES System Support:
Provide direct support for the deployment and sustainment of ERP and MES systems.
Serve as the facility Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the IMT systems.
Oversee the development and execution of training curriculums for these systems.
Support the Master Planner and Production Management in ERP and MES-related tasks.
Production Performance and Planning:
Assess production performance against schedules.
Recommend resource alignment to ensure schedules are maintained.
Collaborate closely with manufacturing engineering to develop and assign production plans.
Ensure accurate execution of production plans by the production team.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:
Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain or related field with 6 years' experience. Additional years' experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
Experience supervising others preferred.
Strong understanding and experience with ERP/MRP and MES systems required. (Deltek Costpoint, Oracle, JDE, SAP).
Excellent organization skills and attention to details with the ability to perform multiple tasks and obtain timely results.
Knowledge and experience with Sales & Operations Planning.
Experience working in an environment with culture of 5S and lean manufacturing.
Good oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management, both internal and external.
Capacity to work independently and make sound decisions while working with changing priorities and competing demand.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Bi, and PowerPoint. Ability to learn other business software application to support role.
Experience working in organization holding quality certifications such as ISO 9000; ISO 9001; AS9100, or TS16949.
Provide training and support to production and support team members, focusing on systems ERP
Must be able to obtain Secret security clearance.
