A well-established dairy manufacturer with over 40 years of success is seeking a

Quality Assurance Manager

to join their growing team. This company is known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement within the food manufacturing industry.

Position Overview

The Quality Assurance Manager will lead all quality systems and compliance initiatives within the facility. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys mentoring team members, ensuring product excellence, and driving improvement from the production floor.

Key Responsibilities Lead and maintain QA policies, procedures, and compliance with company, customer, and government standards

Oversee HACCP, GMP, and SSOP programs and ensure audit readiness

Train, mentor, and support Quality Control Technicians

Participate in customer and SQF audits as needed

Conduct pre-shipment reviews, validation studies, and GMP/HACCP assessments

Collaborate with Plant and Sanitation Managers to maintain facility quality and safety standards

Drive continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives across departments

Qualifications

3+ years of supervisory experience in Quality Assurance (food manufacturing preferred)

Strong knowledge of HACCP, SSOP, USDA, and FDA standards

Proven experience with audits and QA systems

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

PCQI certification and food science background preferred

Familiarity with organic, Kosher, or Halal production a plus
