About the Role We are seeking an innovative Chief Investment Officer (CIO) with a robust background in quantitative crypto trading, XLT strategies, and DeFi markets. The ideal candidate will take charge of defining and executing sophisticated trading frameworks that enhance alpha through algorithmic strategies, risk optimization, and automation. This position requires a visionary leader who can harmoniously blend Wall Street precision with the rapid dynamics of Web3. The successful CIO will have a proven track record of managing substantial portfolios within crypto or institutional markets, alongside leading a talented team of quantitative analysts and data scientists. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in quantitative trading or portfolio leadership and must have managed portfolios exceeding $20B. Mastery in algorithmic trading, XLT, on-chain data analysis, SMA, AI, and Web3 is essential. You will also play a crucial role in the company’s growth strategy, having previously built and retained high-performing teams. Familiarity with wealth management regions such as Canada, Dubai, and Australia is a plus but not mandatory.
