Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Testing Manager, you will plan and execute test cycles for large SAP implementations. Your role will involve collaborating with project teams and third parties to align business requirements with testing strategies. You will be pivotal in building comprehensive test scenarios and cases, ensuring they meet functional requirements through various testing cycles, including functional unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing.
Additionally, you will engage with business stakeholders to evaluate business models, processes, and operations. Your responsibilities will also include gathering business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure that solutions meet these requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead workstream delivery while ensuring effective management of processes and solutions.
Track the completion of deliverables and monitor project status in alignment with performance objectives.
Participate actively in client sessions, leading workstreams from planning through execution and closure.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
Strong analytical abilities to devise solutions for complex challenges.
Proven track record in managing engagement economics and resource allocation.
Experience in leading teams and effectively managing change.
Ability to identify opportunities for additional services and lead RFP responses.
Expertise in defining test strategy, planning, implementing, and ensuring quality assurance for large projects.
Proficient in driving test design, preparation, and execution across extensive business and system requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
4-6 years of proven experience in a testing lead role for large SAP implementations.
Experience with developing test strategies and scenarios.
Strong understanding of various testing methodologies.
Technical skills in functional design and requirements analysis.
Willingness to travel up to 40-60% to meet client needs.
Ideally, you will have:
Experience in managing client relationships and expectations.
A strong background in technology analysis and implementation.
Familiarity with testing tools and automation frameworks.
