About the Role We are seeking an experienced Director to lead the administrative management of our organization's operations, finances, and facilities. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing all financial aspects, including budgeting, financial operations, fundraising, bookkeeping, and investments. You will provide essential support to the clergy, oversee staff, and collaborate with lay leaders, ensuring smooth operations and a vibrant community. As a key member of the Board of Directors, you will help develop and implement policies to maintain the long-term sustainability of our organization. We are looking for someone with 3-5 years of management experience in a non-profit or similar setting, with a strong emphasis on fundraising and event planning. Financial expertise is crucial, and familiarity with QuickBooks is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office, possess excellent communication skills, and have a talent for multitasking with strong organizational abilities. Experience working with volunteers, diplomacy in leadership, and a focus on customer relationship management are also essential. Additionally, the Director will be expected to participate in events during evenings and weekends in alignment with our observance of Jewish holidays.
