Join Our Team as a NDT Technician! Are you skilled in non-destructive testing methods? We are looking for a dedicated NDT Technician to perform a variety of inspection tasks using advanced techniques. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of high-integrity castings in a foundry atmosphere. Your primary responsibilities will include: Die Penetrant Inspection (LPI):

Execute inspections on castings using liquid penetrant testing methods and procedures. Keep inspection records updated as per requirements. Magnetic Particle (Mag):

Conduct inspections on castings utilizing magnetic particle testing techniques. Maintain accurate inspection records. Radiography (XRAY):

Perform all aspects of radiographic testing including shooting, developing film, interpreting results, achieving certifications, and developing techniques. Collaborate with radiographers on different shifts for smooth transitions and ensure timely ordering of consumables. Inspection of High Integrity Castings:

Carry out hardness testing (Brinnel), ultrasonic/thickness testing, and PMI verification as required. Examine dimensions on tooling and defense castings through visual inspection and measurement tools. Create detailed dimensional reports and assist source inspectors with verification processes. Requirements: LPI:

400 hours of experience in liquid penetrant inspection, 32 hours of formal training, and successful completion of internal tests. MT:

530 hours of experience in magnetic particle inspection, 32 hours of formal training, and successful internal testing. XRAY:

Certification as an Industrial Radiographer is required. Safe operation of hoists and forklifts. Ability to read and comprehend master sheets and measuring devices. Proficiency in basic arithmetic functions and teamwork. Maintain cleanliness and organization in your work area. Other responsibilities may be assigned by your supervisor. $23 - $30 hourly wage.
