We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Multi‑Unit General Manager to oversee multiple bakery café locations and lead teams to excellence. This full‑time, salaried role is hands‑on and people‑focused, requiring a strong leader who can inspire teams, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and drive operational and financial success. Key Responsibilities

Ownership & Accountability: Take full responsibility for each bakery’s overall performance, including sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and team culture. Operational Excellence: Proactively identify and resolve challenges to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations; maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment that reflects Fresh Baguette’s standards. People Leadership & Development: Recruit, onboard, and retain top talent; coach, mentor, and develop team members; build strong team bonds through respect, collaboration, and care. Business Mindset: Drive sales growth through local marketing and community engagement; monitor and analyze KPIs and make data‑driven decisions; optimize labor, inventory, and production planning; uphold product quality and presentation; collaborate with marketing on local initiatives. Adaptability & Autonomy: Lead daily bakery operations, adjust quickly to new circumstances, and work independently while maintaining strong communication with central leadership. Service Orientation & Charismatic Presence: Deliver exceptional customer service; inspire enthusiasm through a charismatic presence; ensure a service culture that delights guests and builds loyalty. Qualifications

4+ years of management experience in hospitality, food service, or retail. Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment. Strong financial acumen with experience tracking and improving KPIs (sales, labor, food cost, waste, etc.). Knowledge of food safety standards and commitment to maintaining compliance. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; warm, approachable, and able to inspire staff and customers. Hands‑on leadership style—comfortable joining production or service when needed. High adaptability, resilience, and proactive problem‑solving. Physical requirements: standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, routine bending, reaching, and movement in a retail environment. Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license for regular travel between locations. Fluent in English. Work Information

Location: Multiple retail locations across Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Hours: Monday to Friday & weekends. Full‑time. Salary range: $85,000–$115,000 per year.
