Job Summary

Senior Production Managers are responsible for overseeing and leading a group of production personnel and their leaders. Responsibilities include leading multi-layered teams developing leaders and individual contributors, planning capacity, driving scaling and efficiency and directing staff in support our department goals and objectives. The position reports to a Director or Senior Director of Integration Operations.

Responsibilities

Lead team to execute successful integration for technology solutions per specifications and/or configuration instructions utilizing both industry and WWT best practices.

Review the operating strategy in the context of business goals and market dynamics to identify key process improvement opportunities within the business unit/function.

Ensure the appropriate techniques to plan production capacity are correctly used and that optimal solutions are implemented when short-term constraints or capacity issues arise.

Guide the execution of solutions for complex, non-routine issues; redirect solution implementation if desired results were not originally met.

Provide guidance and expertise to analyze data and patterns and assess the root cause of complex, non-routine problems.

Compare overall business performance before and after large and complex process improvements to analyze the impact.

Develop and maintain the ongoing collaborative relationship with the Sales Engineering, Material Operations, Logistics, Professional Services, Program Management teams.

Lead discussions with multiple stakeholders, reiterating and reflecting on various (and sometimes conflicting) messages to ensure broad understanding.

Collaborate with others across disciplines to brainstorm and execute solutions to the most complex, uncommon problems.

Coordinate complex projects and provides guidance and training to managers or project leaders, ensuring that project teams remain focused on goals and deadlines.

Provide leadership and guidance to managers in structuring projects and goals of the business unit/function.

Hold managers and employees accountable for successfully implementing process improvement initiatives.

Promote efficiency and time management in the business unit/function by modeling behaviors such as prompt decision making and meeting deadlines; reward the achievement of timely results.

Develop current and future leaders in the principles of Strategic Planning, Financial Operations Management, Lean Operations and Servant Leadership

Play a lead role in conjunction with IT and other operations leaders to establish our integration systems roadmap. This includes developing and implementing industry leading information systems for shop control management, production planning, and workflow optimization among others.

Recognize a spectrum of verbal and nonverbal/behavioral cues and coaches others on how to observe and interpret those cues.

Validate and lead others to come to agreement on a point of view or solutions

Promote WWT safety guidelines.

Drive teams to maintain a clean and organized (5S) warehouse operation.

Qualifications

Degree in related field preferred

A minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in a related field preferred

Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience required

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Experienced manager with a focus on managing the operations of a department or work unit and contributing to planning for the function of the business unit.

Results have a noticeable impact on the achievement of functional unit objectives.

Leads team(s) of skilled professionals to accomplish ongoing objectives.

Requires proficiency in leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to influence others.

May include advanced technical positions that require innovative and conceptual thinking within a technologic discipline.

Familiarity with design fundamentals, and initial setup and configuration tasks associated with the build-out of cell towers, cell sites, and telecommunication sites, as well as data centers including Network, Compute, Storage, and Cloud Solutions.

Proficiency in providing customer service to include leading senior-level customer interaction

Expert level capability in KPI development and attainment

Proficiency in understanding and managing financial budgets

Experience or knowledge of supply chain, warehouse, logistics, and materials management

Experience managing multiple concurrent projects

Experience in Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing operations

High level of problem-resolution ability and visionary management skills

Proficient in the use of Office Tools

Compensation/ Benefits

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $99,600.00 - 124,500.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
