Job Description

The

University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety

(UOES) division is currently hiring for a full-time Maintenance Assistant I in

St. Michael's Laundry

in our campus Operations department. The UOES Division oversees the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions, while also supporting student life, academic initiatives, research activities, and annual milestone celebrations.

Maintenance Assistant I

Key Responsibilities: Maintain and repair over 70 pieces of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment Assist Sr. Maintenance Technician with ordering parts and supplies Qualifications

Education Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred Experience: 3 to 4 years Skill Qualifications: Mechanical ability to work on a variety of equipment. Prefer experience working with laundry and dry cleaning equipment. Strong organizational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information

Pay Rate: $21-28/hr (commensurate with experience)
