The Assistant Controller supports the VP, Corporate Controller, in successfully managing accounting operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a team to ensure proper recording of various operational and technical accounting areas such as revenue recognition, share-based compensation, lease accounting, consolidations and eliminations. This role will also support internal and external reporting as well as accounting for acquisitions. This leader partners with internal stakeholders to assess the operations of the organization and identify and provide solutions for process challenges.

What you will be doing: Month-End Close, Reporting, and Compliance:

Support the month-end close process through timely and accurate journal entries and reconciliations; drive internal and external financial reporting including SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q) and earnings releases; ensure full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company deadlines. Technical Accounting, Guidance, and Audit Coordination:

Provide technical accounting guidance in accordance with US GAAP and company policy; evaluate the accounting implications of deal structures and business developments; coordinate with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits. Internal Controls, SOX Compliance, and Risk Management:

Implement, document, and maintain effective internal controls and ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance across all areas of responsibility to mitigate risk and uphold financial integrity. Cross-Functional Partnership and Process Improvement:

Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and other business leaders to align financial results and plans; lead operational improvements including financial system upgrades, process simplification, and efficiency initiatives to support business growth. Team Leadership, Development, and Strategic Execution:

Manage and develop a portion of the corporate accounting team to ensure accuracy, timely task completion, and high performance; demonstrate strong self-direction and adaptability in a dynamic environment; lead with a focus on prioritization, innovative problem-solving, and simplification to drive optimal solutions and team success. Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or a related field (required). Ten years of relevant experience in accounting, with an emphasis on corporate accounting and SEC reporting required.
