Industry Venture Capital & Private Equity Type Privately Held About the Role We are seeking an experienced Interim CFO to offer strategic financial leadership and expertise during critical transitions, growth periods, and transformative phases. The ideal candidate will develop and implement financial strategies designed to optimize key metrics in a subscription-based SaaS model. This role requires collaboration with private equity sponsors and board members, while overseeing operational finance to increase financial efficiency. We are looking for a hands-on, execution-oriented finance leader with a proven background in SaaS revenue models, ARR optimization, and subscription billing, as well as extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), divestitures, and capital markets. The Interim CFO will be instrumental in leading ERP and system implementations, mentoring internal finance teams, and driving financial results in partnership with the executive team and investors. Candidates should possess over 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally having served as a CFO in a private equity-backed SaaS environment. While a CPA, CFA, or MBA is preferred, it is not mandatory. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of collaborating with private equity firms, operating in high-growth or distressed environments, and implementing best-in-class financial reporting and KPI tracking suited to SaaS business models. The Interim CFO will also lead turnaround and restructuring initiatives, formulate financial stabilization strategies, and ensure robust financial controls while maintaining strategic alignment with private equity investors.
