Pay Information $2,486 per week
About The Position Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 16:30 Experience: Minimum 1 year with Cath Lab and Electrophysiology experience License: State licensed Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT(R) with SCRQSA(R), or CCI(RCIS) with SCRQSA Must-Have: - Electrophysiology experience (monitor, pace, and burn) - Circulation and Cath Lab experience including PCI, Shockwave, CSI, Impella Insertion, and Balloon Pump Description: Travelers must live within 30 minutes from the facility to respond as expected when on call for STEMIs. This should be considered when procuring housing. Daily caseload per tech varies with volume. On-call is required on weekdays and weekends on rotation. Weekend call starts Friday evening and ends Monday morning. The traveler will float to Electrophysiology as needed. Required experience includes the ability to monitor, pace, and burn. Circulate, Cath Lab experience should include PCI, Shockwave, CSI, Impella Insertion, and Balloon Pump. Preferred experience includes scrub, circulation, and monitoring in all cases. Experience with tilt table studies, cardioversion, and vascular procedures (carotid and peripherals) is a plus. Clienttion badges are required and must be provided by the agency. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. This may affect travel assignments in the peak months for hurricane activity.
