About the Role:

The Breakfast Attendant at Residence Inn KOP, plays a vital role in ensuring guests start their day with a positive and satisfying dining experience. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and inviting breakfast area that reflects the high standards of the hospitality industry within a durable goods manufacturing environment. The Breakfast Attendant will interact courteously with guests, addressing their needs promptly and professionally to enhance overall guest satisfaction. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency in managing food supplies, and adherence to health and safety regulations to provide a safe and pleasant environment. Ultimately, the Breakfast Attendant contributes significantly to the hotel's reputation by delivering consistent, high-quality service during the breakfast hours.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a customer service or food service role preferred but not required. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying supplies. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices. Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor. Valid Serv Safe certification. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment. Certification in food handling or safety. Familiarity with durable goods manufacturing industry standards as they relate to workplace safety and cleanliness. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends. Multilingual abilities to better serve a diverse guest population. Responsibilities:

Set up and replenish breakfast buffet items, ensuring all food and beverage stations are fully stocked and visually appealing throughout service hours. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and dining utensils, adhering to health and safety standards. Greet guests warmly, respond to inquiries about menu items, and accommodate special dietary requests when possible. Monitor food quality and freshness, promptly removing any items that do not meet standards and communicating supply needs to management. Assist with inventory management by tracking breakfast supplies and reporting shortages to ensure uninterrupted service.
